Muamer LapandićParticipantGutenberg blocks from old theme kept its styling, is there a way to remove this styling so its compatible with your theme?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Try to clear the site/server/browser cache and recheck the issue.
Also, if you use some default elements, you can edit the page via the page builder and check whether those values are defined there or not.
Kind Regards

Muamer LapandićParticipantNot working, it keeps this styling in Gutenberg blocks.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Send the URL of that page and send access to the admin panel so I can check that issue on your end.
Thank you in advance.

Muamer LapandićParticipantThat is not what I talk about.
Problem is it holds margin css from old theme, and such css does not exist in your theme.May 15, 2025 at 3:46 pm #660959
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Okay, I see. May I disable the 3rd party plugins and enable the default/parent theme for testing?
Looking forward to collaborating with you!
Kind Regards

Muamer LapandićParticipantWe have to wait imagify to finish all images processing, after that I have to make backup and I can test with default theme.
I will keep you updated.-

Muamer LapandićParticipantI checked with default theme, and only Woodmart plugin, result is the same.
For some reason, block “Files and text”, or maybe even other blocks, missing padding and margin styling.
I think this is crucial to be fixed.May 16, 2025 at 12:37 pm #661154
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
After examining your site in more detail, we noticed that you are using default WordPress blocks, which generate dynamic inline styles within the blocks. This behavior is a result of how the default block editor (Gutenberg) handles styling and layout, and it comes with certain technical limitations — such as restricted design flexibility and potential performance issues when rendering complex layouts.
Unfortunately, due to the way these blocks are built, our theme cannot override or improve their built-in styling or customization options. These limitations are inherent to the core WordPress editor and not something a theme can directly control.
For a more flexible and optimized experience, we recommend using the custom elements provided by our theme. These elements are designed to offer significantly more styling and layout options, better performance, and deeper integration with the theme’s overall design system — allowing you to build more visually consistent and feature-rich pages with ease.
Kind Regards

Muamer LapandićParticipantWell, that is unfair.
WordPress theme should be compatible with WordPress.
That what you suggest will lock me down behind your theme and that is not something I want to do.May 16, 2025 at 5:01 pm #661243
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like 2025 or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not?
Kind Regards
