How to give access to "Projects" to Author user profile ?

I have a website in which I created an “Author” user who needs access to the Woodmart Projects admin section. He needs to create / edit / delete projects (and project categories).
Can you please tell me how this can be done?

When you create a user, you set the role https://wordpress.org/support/article/roles-and-capabilities/
Then test Author and Editor. You will find the difference between them in the description above.

I checked the roles and I chose the “Author” because it’s the role that gives the least accesses. That’s exactly what I want, and then I want to give only access to Woodmart projets.
If I chose the Editor, the user has too much accesses to lots of things => which I don’t want.
Please tell me how I can manually provide access to Woodmart projets to an Author role.

WoodMart theme as well as any other WordPress theme does not detect or influence the scope of access granted to the user type.
You will need to find a plugin that would determine or restrict user access, depending on his role.
