Hi,
You can find an archive with the child theme in the package downloaded from ThemeForest. Just install it as a regular theme and activate.

So I only have to install the regular theme, the child theme and then activate the child theme?
I do not have to following the child theme guide on the WordPress website?

Exactly. You don’t need any extra steps. The only one thing may happen is that widgets configuration will be lost. It is a WordPress behavior on theme switch. So you will need to go to Appearance -> Widgets and readd all widgets to their areas.
