How to make product "FEATURED"

cant make the product be shown in category FEATURED and SALE
I create product — then create category “FEATURED” —- then in Product tab in WPBakery I set the Data source “Featured”….and no product shown on main page…
and the second question:
I choose the color from the preview of the product —- then press Buy — and then there is again the window with option to choose color. how to make only select color in product preview

Featured products are the products marked as featured in Dashboard -> Products -> products having star sign http://prntscr.com/ln7fjh
Sales products are products which have sales price.
Make sure you have inserted all your attribute slugs in English to choose products. Provide your login URL to check
