How to modify the layout or content of product category pages

I want to add some content below the product categories, such as other categories I want to display, or a slideshow of blog posts.
I edited the element in Layouts – Product archive layout attribute, added some content at the bottom of the product list, and saved it, but there was no change on the front end. How can I fix this?

I have checked your site, and this layout is currently applied to the “Filter by any attribute” and “Shop search results” conditions.

Please set the layout condition specifically for product categories and check if the issue is resolved.

Thank you for your prompt reply. After the creation is completed, the category page will automatically apply the newly created layout, right?
