Hi, I need to be able to hide a category (of products) from my shop and display it somewhere else how do I do that?
In the filters all categories are displayed by default and I cannot select which ones to show/hide.

    Thanks, G

    Hello,

Can you please share the screenshot of the issue from where do you want to hide or remove the categories? and where do you want to add them on the shop page?

Also, share the page URL as well.

    Best Regards.

Hi, I haven’t created the category yet but it will be called “gift cards” and I don’t want them to show on the main shop page. I will create a differente page where I will show the gift cards (I know how to show them on the new page).
I just saw on another website that all categories show on the shop page by default and couldn’t find a way to hide a particular category.

I attach a screen shot of the shop page..but you won’t see and issue, I just need to know hot to control what is on this page

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Sorry to say but the Product Categories that you are mentioning are added in the Sidebar of the Shop and Category pages. The Product Categories showing here are added through a widget Product Categories that can be found under the Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets > Shop page Widget area > there you can find that: https://postimg.cc/Lhkkxpk8

But currently this default Widget doesn’t contain an option to show or hide specific Categories unfortunately.

If there is some specific Category that you want to hide on the Sidebar then kindly, mention that with your Site URL so that we can check and provide you the Custom CSS in this regard, if applicable.

    Best Regards
