How to set image quality to be better for products

I downloaded the demo image for products from my dummy data store (Jewelry store) and opened in photoshop, changed the image to my product and then saved it. When I import the image the thumbnail and detail image for that product looks very pixelated and blurry,

I was using the image size 700 X 800 (The same size for the dummy image)

How can i fix this ???
