You can set “Show summary on hover” in the Theme Settings > Product Archives > Product Styles.
Then show “Additional information” in the Hover content in the Theme Settings > Product Archives > Product Styles.

Then enable “excerpt” in the Theme Settings > Single product > Elements.

Sorry but there is no option in Theme Settings available for that.

It requires customizations and this is beyond our limitations and support policy.

Hello,

You can add the long text in the short description area in the edit product page. When you hover on the product in the grid, you need to click on the three dots and see the full text that you have added.
