How to turn off registration? BOT ‘s attacking my website

Hello,

Today a bot has been attacking my website and creating thousands of new user accounts, which also caused my Gmail to reach its limit. Could you please show me how to completely disable user registration?
I’ve already tried everything I know, but the LOGIN/REGISTER icon is still showing on the right side of the website.
