How to use default functionality for shop messages? (problems using YITH Points)

We are trying to use the YITH Points & Rewards plugin for WooCommerce (https://yithemes.com/themes/plugins/yith-woocommerce-points-and-rewards/) but it is not working with this Woodmart theme. We have tried the plugin with the default Twenty Sixteen theme and it works fine.
The issue is with the Woodmart theme and how it manages the WooCommerce notice messages on the frontend.
Is it possible for us to modify the theme so that it uses the regular, default notice message system, rather than having the notices appear in the bar at the bottom of the page? It seems that when the notice is there at the bottom of the page, it is impossible to “redeem points” to get the cart discount.
Can you please help with this?

We will add an option to disable this sticky messages option and use regular notices to fix this problem.
