HTML Block Headline – setting URL for it
-
How do I set a URL for the headline of a HTML Block ?
There is nowhere an option like this or at least I can’t see it.
Now when I click on some of the buttons it goes to automatically generated page like:
SWAROVSKI [HTML BLOCK]
Home ยป Swarovski [HTML Block]
which is pointless.
Thanks
Hello,
It is not quite clear for what do you mean. Do you want to open HTML Blocks as regular pages on the frontend?

Hi,
I want to click on the headline of an HTML block on the frontend and then after the click the page to take you to a designated URL which has been set from the backend. I don’t know how to set this URL for the specific headline.

Hi,
Sorry, but there is no such functionality for our HTML Blocks. You need to use regular WordPress pages for this instead.

Hi,
Well, how is it working on your theme live preview then ? https://demo.xtemos.com/basel/shop/
When I click on shop it goes to shop, when I click on blog it goes to blog.
This is really strange that this can not be done, it’s kind of key functionality of the HTML block itself.
Hi,
Our demo doesn’t have HTML Blocks links added to the menu. It has pages links but with HTML Blocks dropdowns. Here is a detailed instruction on another topic that should help you create a mega menu dropdown http://xtemos.com/forums/topic/how-to-set-menu-to-megamenu-like-your-demo-pages/#post-2607

That’s exactly what I needed, thanks!
