"https" Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure
-
Hi,
I tried adding my Facebook ID and Facebook secret credentials (in these fields) https://xtemos.com/wp-content/uploads/screenshots/basel/login_register.png but was met with a message that I think means that I need to make the theme more secure.
How can I make Basel theme “Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure” accessible?
Kind regards
Hi,
Please, describe to us your problems in a bit more details. Attach some screenshots and provide us with a list of steps on how to reproduce it on your website.
Thank you in advance.
If you are not using HTTPs then you will not be able to use social login option. You need to purchase an SSL certificate for your website. Contact your hosting provider for help in this situation.
Hi,
I bought the SSL certificate for the website. However, the application of the Basel Theme appears to ‘overload’ and presents issues for the security of the website according to browsers.
In this example, the Basel theme’s implementation of the favicon appears to create problems (see screenshot). How can I resolve such issues across my site?

Kind regards
You need to be sure that all images on your website are loaded with HTTPS. Try to reupload them.
What is the most efficient workflow process for re-uploading images?
Do I FTP download all the images and then re-upload them, by ftp again or by the dashboard?
Also, how do I go about this regarding Woocommerce images?
Kind regards.
You need to reupload them via your Dashboard to be sure that all URLs are replaced with HTTPS.
Hi,
Apparently there’s no need to painstakingly hunt for and re-upload every single image. This appears to have worked for me!
