    Hi,
    I have this problem with Woodmart theme Elementor footer templates.
    I’ve added this type of footer on my product pages, about us, blog, contact us, etc.
    1. It works on a desktop, but social icons are not active ( follow us) where to check this? I don’t see that I can do that here in Elementor.
    2. How to make the gap between follow us and social icons to be smaller?
    3. Click to text Shipping & delivery in this footer will lead you to the original page, but this doesn’t work on a mobile, and probably a tablet as well.
    It just redirects to the home page, because it appears like it doesn’t exist.
    How to fix this?
    Return and refunds redirect to the correct page on mobile and desktop too.

    How do I resolve this?

    Kind Regards
    Marko

    Follow us social buttons work on mobile but don’t work on desktop now.

    #385248

    1. You can configure the social icons from Theme Settings >> Social Profiles.

    Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/8f76afb6a4f1ecbca861f45b499def95

    2. You can try adding the margin values to the follow us text and social icons.

    3. You added the shipping and Delivery link as a Html Block. Please create a new page for the Shipping and Delivery and add the link in the footer.

    Best Regards

    Hi,
    1. If you checked my link on mobile and my last message line “Follow us social buttons work on mobile but don’t work on desktop now” you would probably know that I’ve already added Theme Settings >> Social Profiles because they are visible and clickable on a mobile phone.
    They still won’t work on the desktop, please check.

    3. “You added the shipping and Delivery link as an Html Block. Please create a new page for the Shipping and Delivery and add the link in the footer.”
    I’ve changed that and now it’s ok. So this is solved.

    Only those social buttons don’t work on desktop, only on mobile, how to set them to work either way?

    Best regards

    Hi,

    yes, that would probably be the best.
    You will find the details below.

    Can you please check one more thing while you are there?
    Bellow, this black pre-footer section (with contact details, social icons, and white shark logo) is a gap with a line between this section and the footer (with copyrights and payments cards icons) it should be without this space, can you check that as well?

    Thanks
    Regards

    Hello,

    Which HTML Block you are using for the footer on that page?

    Please provide me the name of the HTML Block to check it myself and help you out accordingly.

    Hi,
    It’s “Contact us, about us” HTML block

    Thanks

    Hello,

    Please use the below custom CSS code and paste it to Theme Settings >> Custom CSS >> Global CSS section:

    .footer-column {
        margin-bottom: 0px;
    }
    .footer-sidebar {
        padding-bottom: 0px;
    }

    Best Regards.

    I’ve added this pre-footer to my home page, and there it works, but on other places it still won’t work.

    Hello,

    Please use the below custom CSS code:

    .site-content.col-lg-12.col-12.col-md-12 {
        margin-bottom: 0px;
    }

    Best Regards.

    Hi,
    to put this code for what?
    I’ve tried to add it to Global Custom CSS nothing, then to Custom CSS for desktop (because I have a problem with inactive follow us social icons on the desktop as I said not, they work on a computer), and again nothing.

    By the way, that gap in the pre-footer is not ok again. Now it looks like it works but when you refresh it goes back as it was in the first place.

    I gave you credentials can you check both these issues from your end?

    Thanks

    It’s like when I open the product page I have a pre-footer with line and gap, but when I refresh the page, then it’s ok, and so on.

    Now the gap that should be solved also isn’t solved on mobile. When I refresh the page for 5 times it stays the same, with a gap and line.

    Hello,

    For the Social media icons issue. You are not using the latest version of the Theme and Recommended plugins. Please update the theme and Recommended plugins to the latest version then check back.

    The other issue seems to be due to caching. Please clear cache and check back.

    Best Regards

    Ok. The theme is updated, Woodmart Core as well, WooCommerce etc. the problem with icons is still there.

    1. Check my home page, scroll below, the same pre-footer is there, as I said previously, here everything is ok.
    Social icons are working, shark logo redirects to sharks print page, so it’s not an update problem.
    What to do next?

    2. Can I update to the new Elementor, as in my dashboard it says it’s not still fully tested (The latest update includes some substantial changes across different areas of the plugin. We highly recommend you backup your site before upgrading, and make sure you first update in a staging environment)?
    But even if I update the Elementor, this has nothing to do with that, for sure.

    Regards

    Hello,

    1. We have investigated the issue further and the issue is caused by the Stretch Section option of Elementor.

    Screenshot: https://gyazo.com/4854f58595729d292e7a6911d68efb27

    Please disable the Stretch section and then check back.

    2. Yes you should use the latest version of Elementor. Before updating take a complete backup of the website.

    Best Regards

    I really don’t know why you didn’t do that by yourself and check?
    If you did, you would see that this still doesn’t work?

    We are spending two days on a simple thing like this.

    What you are talking about? If I disable “the Stretch section ” take a look at the attachment and what it looks like? Doesn’t make sense what you are saying.
    1. And yes social icons are not still active on a desktop
    2. On a home page when I check on mobile (previously shark white logo and social icons were there and were
    active, now they are not there)

    I guess that you are busy, but please read more closely this text and check, too much of back and fourth with you today

    I really hope to resolve this today

    #386226

    Hello,

    Please deactivate all the third party plugins, activate the parent theme then check back.

    If the problem still continues then leave all the third party plugins deactivated and tell me then we will troubleshoot with the theme plugins.

    If you cannot deactivate the plugins on the live site then provide the login details of the staging site.

    Best Regards

    I have to go like this, seems that you are not getting my point:

    1. Gap on mobile in pre-footer, after refresh looks ok. then again, in the same process, it shows a line and gap, then no, that doesn’t look right.

    2. Pre-footer uploading is visible when I’m refreshing the page and it goes from squared to stretched.
    It shouldn’t look like that, looks awful and buggy.

    3. Social icons and the white shark logo on the home page on mobile don’t exist, why is that? They are there in Elemantor settings, did you make any changes here?

    4. Social icons and the shark logo are clickable and work as they should on home page on the desktop.

    5. But they are not working and aren’t active on other pages on a desktop.

    This pre-footer is really buggy

    Elementor is now updated.

    Just this additional one

    6. And nov social follow us buttons are in fact share buttons, they redirect to share the page on social profiles,
    that wasn’t set to do that, it should do as is said “Follow us”

    And again I have to note this:

    When you open a page “about us” or “contact us” when you scroll down the pre-footer is with gap and with line.
    When you refresh the same page it’s even worse, you can see a pre-footer goes from square to rectangular shape and then loses a gap and line I was talking about.

    I’ve tried it on different computers and mobile phones (android) seems that this has nothing to do with clearing cases.

    3, 4,5, and 6 are solved on the desktop.

    On mobile, a gap and line are still there?
    And please check these links in private below:

    Hi,
    do you have some recipes step by step on how to optimize the Woodmart theme?

    2. Sorry, a gap on mobile is still there, and a line is still there. I’ve cleared cache on mobile, tried on one android the same, another it’s the same, iPhone 12 the same…
    Did you try to see this issue on mobile or only on desktop?

    Regards

    Check this screenshot, 1 is the gap, and 2 is a line (I guess that line disappears when there is no gap).
