If I want my own icon in the mega menu, is it possible to add istead of font awsome icon?
If yes, how can I do it?

    Hello,

Yes, you can use your own custom icon (an image icon) in the Woodmart mega menu.

To do this, you just need to add the Extra Menu List widget inside the HTML Block you’re using for the mega menu. This widget allows you to upload and display your own image for each list item.

Thanks. In this case it is the first level of the mega menu, done in “menus”

Yes, actually, I was asking about the first level icon in the menu. Is that possible too? (the part of menu done in “menus” and not as html block)

    Hello,

These are product categories. Navigate to Products > Categories > Edit category and upload your own icon in the “Category Icon” field: https://postimg.cc/68pPGD2X

Yes, but I mean the ones you add from the menu. I have solved it now by replacing the font awsome icon with css to my own svg icons.
If there is a better solution I appreciate if you le me know 😉
I am a little worried that it will not work on all browsers.

    Hello,

Please follow this guide and add the Font Awesome icon in the menu.
    https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/create-mega-menu/

Navigate to Appearance > Menu > Edit menu item and add the icon name.
    See this screenshot: https://ibb.co/BVJDNH5X

Additionally, navigate to Theme Settings > fonts & icons > choose Font Awesome library “Always Use.

Thank you. I think I did no explain myself correctly. I know how to do it with font awsome, the problem is, that font awsome do not have the desired icon. That is why I made my own svg icon. Now I need to replace the icon with my own. At the moment I solved it by chaning the font awsome icon to the url of the svg icon via css.
Just wondering if there is a better way to do this.

    Hello,

WoodMart does allow using custom SVGs as menu item icons via Appearance > Menus > Image Settings, but these are loaded as images, not inline SVGs, so styling options are limited.

At the moment, it doesn’t support inline SVG icons in menus natively. Because of this, your current CSS-based solution is perfectly fine and is the recommended approach if you need more control over the icon.

Thank you very much for clarifying. Then I am satisfied with the solution for now.

    Thanks.
