    Hi!

I have enabled the font awesome and all the settings suggested in other topics.

It still does not load the icons on first arrival aon the page. Instead, there are empty squares.

    Hello,

Could you kindly provide the page URL and screen of the widget where you apply Font-Awesome icons.

    Best Regards

I am sorry, the url in the private content has a typo. You can find url in the private content of this message. The icons are ALL icons on the site. Mostly on buttons, like shopping cart and add to cart. I attached a screenshot and circled all the missing icons with red.

    Hello,

Please clear the browser cache and check again. I have checked logged in/out and I see the icons: https://gyazo.com/946dc5559ee65badcfe1e32f213bfb9a

    Best Regards

    Hi!

I cannot replicate that with Chromium based browsers like Chrome or Edge in Windows. Even after clearing cache it does not work. I have also tested with other computers that have never been to the site. Chrome and Edge show no icons, only squares.

In Firefox all icons are present.

    Hi!

Weird. The site has always been online.

I just updated all plugins and WordPress and also Woodmart to the latest version.

Now, even Firefox does not show the icons.

Automatic update for the Woodmart did not work either, I had to update through FTP.

If the site is unreachable, please include screenshots next time, so that I could get support from my hosting provider.

    Thanks for helping me out.

Ok, I got them to show on all browsers, except the Firefox Developer Edition. Developer Edition has always higher version number than ordinary Firefox, so the icons might be missing again soon enough.

After updating Woodmart theme I did the following:
In Settings-> Performance -> Fonts & Icons tab I selected:
    “font-display” for icon fonts: Swap
    “font-display” for icon fonts: Swap
    Font Awesome library: Don’t use
Preload key request for “woodmart-font.woff2”: OFF
    Save options <- click

    Then in Settings-> Other
Slider Revolution inherit theme font: ON
    Save options <- click

I had pretty much the same settings before, but I set the settings to something else temporarily, saved and then set the configuration above.

After that I got the icons back again (for now) but I have no confidence that it lasts. I will continue the topic when they go missing again. Just to help anyone else who’s icons go missing every now and then.

    Hello,

There is an error caused by your server configuration https://gyazo.com/c0fea7ea0987615fc36379ee90683244
Files on the website http://www.website.com can’t be loaded when visiting from website.com (without www.) and vise versa. You need to contact your hosting provider for help on this matter.

    Kind Regards

Confirmed, I got it working now.
For anyone else in trouble with icons not showing, the issue is with ‘CORS’ error. The error appears when the site tries to show the icons from Two different URLs, yoursite.com and http://www.yoursite.com
The solution is to go to your hosting redirect configuration and select the preferred URL (with or without the www.)
And select 301 as redirection type. After that you have to make sure all the links on your site have the same chosen version of your domain.

    Thanks again!
