    Hi there

We were using Woodmart in the past with Elementor – now with Gutenberg.

We couldn’t find the setting anymore in Gutenberg to “slowly” fade in an image. Has this effect been removed from Gutenberg?

    Many thanks

    Hi there,

It’s hard to create a screenshot, it’s more of a general question how/where to find the option in Gutenberg, to define a “fade-in effect” when adding an image to a page.

We can remember that in Elementor there was a setting to define on an image and effect “fade-in” and define the miliseconds until the image is fully faded-in on page load. We can’t find this setting anymore after the migration to Gutenberg as our base editor.

I’ve attached a screenshot of the possibilities in Elementor as main editor for Woodmart in the private section.

    Hi,

The “fade-in” animation type you are referring to is a part of the Elementor plugin and has never been included in the WoodMart theme. Our theme includes its own animation styles labeled as “XTemos,” which feature multi-axis slides, flips, and zoom-in effects (https://monosnap.com/file/NtQEYKIbA6pe1nIkvbY4s367wBlfiT). These animations have been migrated from our options in Elementor (https://monosnap.com/file/8GcEHWz5CQ42566hjQVJOPk581UuR9) to our options in Gutenberg (https://monosnap.com/file/Cd47cwHneILl4JTzKOZatkNlVcHIsY) and are located in the Advanced → Animation section of each element settings. Since “fade-in” animation was never a part of the WoodMart theme, it was not carried over between builders.

We will consider your request as a feature request and evaluate the possibility of adding this type of animation in future theme updates. You can also create a detailed feature request on our page https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests, where our community can vote for it, allowing it to get to the update even faster than usual.

    Kind Regards
