Image for variable Product stops loading

Hey Guys,

sometimes the product images won’t load initial. It looks like as in the screenshot attached. When refreshing the site, it works well.

I disabled all caching plugins to make sure its not a problem by them. Even without these plugin, image won’t load time to time.

You can check it out by yourself. Just follow the URL and chose any color. Please try it on a smartphone, cause more often it happens on these devices. Are there any settings to avoid this problem? Is it a loading time problem? Even with WP Rocket and an amazing score, the Product-Pages load up to 4 Seconds. Even without images, so its not a problem by image-size.

thanks for your answer.

Well my images all have the same size. They are all 1800×1800 as a square to make the zoom effect better. I don’t have any problem with the product grid, its on the product page itself. While choosing a different color the image won’t appear, just that little gap. This happens from time to time.

first you need to use a smartphone. Then go to the product URL I sent above. And change to a color you’d like. the Image won’t load completely from time to time and then it looks like the image above. Not sure why this is happening. After a refresh, the image loads as expected.

I use an iPhone 11 Pro. The Video I sent you is from an iMac. You think this is an iOS / OS X Problem?
