This is in reference to the loaded image size on the individual product pages. Elsewhere in the theme it uses the default WordPress thumbnails properly, loading small, medium, or large as appropriate.
But on the individual product page, it loads the full size image. This is fairly bad because I use very high quality images and this leads to very long load times.
An easy fix would be to load the large WordPress size instead (or a custom theme size). Then the link to enlarge the image would open the full quality image in the lightbox.
Several of my products have 3+mb images, and it is necessary that they be that high quality. This would significantly help with page load time and would just be better overall.
