Image size for background on category pages

Hi I’m trying to make sense of the image size for the category images. I found that you recommend 2200 x 774 px. Then I use this size and only category name, my image scales down. It will only show a small part of my image it will be like 2200 x 200 px. How can I make get “more” picture around the category text?
I want to scale all picture (hight + width) not only after width.

We use image size 1200px; height: 400px on our demo.
The image size depends on the image and if we recommended this size for one site it does not matter it would fit for another one. I check your site and see that there are different images, they should be of the same proportion as well to fit.
As for your screenshot, your page title should be higher to show the image. Navigate to the Theme Settings > Shop > Title and sidebar > Sidebar size https://prnt.sc/pp7dv4 try “Medium” or “Large” If you set the “Large” The image would look much nicer.
