Image sizes, million images, how to place generated images.

Hello,

I really want to understand how I can make it so that in the /shop I have all the product pictures 300×300 and when I open the single product itself there is a large picture 700×700 and under it in the gallery there are 150×150 pictures and so that no more pictures are generated and so that the hosting is not littered with all a million unnecessary pictures with a million different sizes.. thanks

I really want to have only the original image that I uploaded and then three sizes:

150×150

300×300

700×700

together, so that 3 additional images are generated and a total of 4 images are obtained.

And I want to understand how I can display those sizes correctly everywhere I want, such as product cards, single products.

Unfortunately, WooCommerce does not allow assigning separate images for different product views (shop, single product, and gallery) by default. The same image is used across all layouts, and its size is adjusted based on the predefined settings.

However, you can control the display size of these images by navigating to:
Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce > Product Images
Here, you can adjust the dimensions for product images in the shop grid and single product pages.

For the single product layout, you can go to:
Theme Settings > Single Product > Product Page Layout
This allows you to choose different layouts, which can impact how the product images are displayed on the product page.
