cuonggym148ParticipantHello,
I have many products, each with many different design options.
I temporarily call this attribute is “Design”.Because there are so many different designs for different products, I don’t create common attributes (Global Attribute).
When I post each product, I create new Attributes and Variations of that product (all variations have their own images). So how can I create a Swatch panel with images of each variation instead of a drop-down menu (as is the default)?

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In order to create a Swatch panel with images, first you need to define attributes that are defined in Products -> Attributes – https://prnt.sc/nZxL8bu66Tdb. In your case, you have defined them manually – https://prnt.sc/sE4aFp73yIhF in such a way it will not work.
Kind Regards

cuonggym148ParticipantManually created attributes cannot be used to make Swatch? Is there any way? 🙁

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Sorry, but the swatches are not working with the manually created attributes. You need to create them via Products -> Attributes and then assign them to the product. For now, it works only in such a way.
Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards

cuonggym148ParticipantCan Woodmart theme create variations like this without install additional plugins?
(With manually created attributes – almost my variations created like that)Attachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
We have the default functionality for the swatches, but as I mentioned above, it will not work with the manually created swatches. To make such swatches as shown on your screenshot, you need to enable “Text swatches” in the settings of the Attributes itself – https://prnt.sc/LNzwD_D3Nd6_ then for the Attribute define such settings – https://prnt.sc/Otn043zBy1Pu and the result will be similar to your screenshot – https://prnt.sc/MiQhkwt8_ySk
Kind Regards

cuonggym148ParticipantOkay, so with manually created attributes I will have no choice but to install a Plugin.
Hopefully in the near future Woodmart will support creating Swatches for even manual attributes 🙁June 27, 2024 at 10:46 am #575852
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
You can leave a future request here – https://woodmart.canny.io/feature-requests and our developers can consider it.
Thank you for your time.
