Image Variation Swap

When selecting the different thumbnails for the variations, the main product image doesn’t swap. I’ve checked settings and everything looks fine and i’m positive it worked yesterday, could you please assist me in checking what is wrong?

Just to update, the variation/attribute image changes when you select both the colour and the size of the product, the main image then changes.

This is the way WooCoomerce works. If you install and test the issue on any default theme you will see the same result.
