Images on menu

Hi! First of all, thank you for creating this wonderful theme.

I’m struggling with the menu. I’m creating the main menu as product categories. I’d like to have a drop down menu, where the sub-categories are shown like this: picture above and category name below. And there will be three or four sub-categories side by side. I’m talking about pretty much same kind of solution as Home-menu section (which includes different demos with thumbnails) in Basel’s demo.

I can add some content with HTML blocks, but it seems that I can’t create those blocks with WPBakery page builder. If this would be possible, I can create these sub-category sections as I want.

Do you guys have any suggestions about how I could do this?

Items in the mega menu are added by means of the Extra menu list. You can add images with WP Bakery element – Single image – as well.

As soon as you have the block ready, navigate to Appearance > Menu, choose your category menu and add HTML title as shown here: https://xtemos.com/docs/basel/create-menu/

Just to make this clear, do you mean I should use WPBakery while creating HTML block? Because I don’t have the option to use WPBakery while creating HTML block. I only have the basic editor while creating the content for HTML block.

Oh gosh, I didn’t notice that setting in Role Manager page. That solved everything. Now I can use WPBakery in HTML Blocks and create the menu I want. Thank you so much for your help 🙂
