Try to create a staging site:

Import the demo on the staging site as you want.
Export Content: Use the default WordPress functionality:
– Go to Dashboard > Tools > Export.
– Choose the content (pages, posts, etc.) you wish to export, specifically the homepage.
3. On the Production Site:
– Go to Dashboard > Tools > Import, and upload the exported file to import the homepage.
