kharlamov.manParticipantHello WoodMart Support,
I’m using WoodMart 8.6.1 with WooCommerce and need help with two variation settings:
1. I would like inactive (disabled) variations to be hidden from the product page, rather than shown as selectable color swatches. How can I configure this?
2. The AJAX variation threshold is currently 30. I have a product with about 100 variations and would like to increase the threshold. Your settings search finds “AJAX variation threshold” under Shop → Variable products, but clicking the result does not take me to the setting, and the field is not visible on that page. How can I change it through the standard WoodMart interface?I can provide a screenshot of the settings search result if helpful.
Thank you!
October 3, 2026 at 11:54 am #730489Hello,
01.Could you please clarify what you mean by inactive (disabled) variations? Are these variations that are out of stock, or variations that have been manually disabled?
If by inactive (disabled) variations you mean manually disabled variations, you can configure the Disabled Swatch style by navigating to:
Products > Attributes > Edit AttributeThen select the desired Disabled Swatch style.
Please note that this setting applies to manually disabled variations, not out-of-stock variations. To apply it, edit the relevant product variation and disable the Enabled option. The Disabled Swatch style will then be applied accordingly.
However, please note that this option changes the appearance of disabled variations; it does not hide them completely.See these images for reference:

Please navigate to Theme Settings > Shop > Variable Products
There you will find the AJAX variation threshold option. You can increase the value from the default 30 to the number of variations you require, for example 100.

kharlamov.manParticipantHello,
Thank you for your reply.
Unfortunately, the suggested solution does not fully solve my issue.
1. Regarding inactive variations:
I need unavailable/inactive color variations to be completely hidden from the product page, not just displayed with a different “Disabled Swatch” style.
For example, if a certain color variation is disabled or unavailable for this product, I do not want the customer to see this color swatch at all.
Is there a WoodMart setting that allows unavailable/disabled variation swatches to be completely hidden?
If there is no such setting, could you please provide the recommended hook/filter or code snippet for WoodMart to hide them?
2. Regarding the AJAX variation threshold:
You wrote:
“Theme Settings > Shop > Variable Products > AJAX variation threshold”
However, I do not have the AJAX variation threshold option in this section of my WoodMart settings.
My goal is to increase the variation limit from the default 30 to at least 100 variations per product.
Could you please clarify:
– Why is this setting missing in my WoodMart installation?
– Was this option moved or removed in newer WoodMart versions?
– What is the correct way to increase the AJAX variation threshold to 100 in the current version of WoodMart?
– If it must now be done with PHP, please provide the correct hook/filter compatible with WoodMart.
So, to summarize, I need:
– AJAX variation threshold increased to at least 100;
– unavailable/disabled color swatches completely hidden, not just visually disabled.
Please provide the exact solution for the current WoodMart version.

October 5, 2026 at 4:14 pm #730576Hello,
Thank you for providing the access details.
Regarding the AJAX Variation Threshold, please first enable the following option:
Theme Settings > Shop > Variable Products > Additional images of variationsAfter enabling this option, the AJAX Variation Threshold setting will become available in the same section.
See the screenshot for better understanding: https://postimg.cc/8FzsmRHG
You can then increase the value from the default 30 to 100 (or the required number of variations).
Please save the Theme Settings after changing the value and check the product again.
Best Regards.
