imanoverParticipantHello everyone, there is this problem with displaying the gallery in a single product, it appears only on the new Edge browser ver. 126.0.2592.56. In other browsers everything is fine / chrome, opera, firefox /
Also, when changing the gallery display option in the Theme settings > Single product > Gallery > Gallery layout, nothing happens, you select any option and the one that is still displayed.
Theme https://woodmart.xtemos.com/mega-electronics/
Before updating the browser everything was displayed fineAt the same time, the link to the example template https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/accessories/decoration-wooden-present/ is displayed normally in the same MS Edge ver. 126.0.2592.56.
Help me understand what could be wrong
Sincerely

Bogdan DonovanKeymasterHello,
We checked your website using the latest version of the Edge browser on both Windows and Mac, and we did not find the issues you described. Your product gallery appears normal everywhere. Screenshots:

imanoverParticipantI have now rolled back my system, at the same time updated the Edge browser to version 126.0.2592.61, reset it several times, and the gallery is also displayed crookedly. So I recorded a video where everything is shown naturally. I reloaded the page a couple of times so that it would be clear that when loading it is displayed normally, and then moves to the right.
Windows I have a Win10pro license

Why is yours displayed fine for me, but my site is crooked?June 18, 2024 at 4:37 pm #573577
imanoverParticipantSelecting a gallery template (Theme settings > Single product > Gallery > Gallery layout) does not work, now I specifically added a new product, this template is selected, and another one is shown in the preview. I attach screenshots

imanoverParticipantI checked in Edge for some reason the size of the side icons is set to 32.75 pixels. When manually changed in Edge by 150 pixels, the icon takes on the desired appearance. Two screenshots, before and after.
Where do these 32 pixels come from?Attachments:

Bogdan DonovanKeymaster1. Left side gallery thumbnail width. As we mentioned in our previous message, we checked your website in the latest version (126.0.2592.61) of the Edge browser on several devices, and it worked perfectly in all cases. Additionally, we are providing a video (https://monosnap.com/file/hHZyAFQIdltQn6z78MuFKZKSEkyNNB) of the product gallery functioning correctly in Edge. Unfortunately, we cannot offer a solution to a problem we cannot observe.
2. Theme settings “Gallery layout” options is not working. The product gallery layout settings differ in the theme settings compared to the frontend appearance because you are using a custom product layout (https://prnt.sc/JhnWx_7qTHKD). In this custom layout, a different gallery layout value (Thumbnails left) has been selected for the product gallery element (https://prnt.sc/qnMpftIFEVZ6). In this case, the settings from the theme options will not apply until you either disable the custom layout (https://prnt.sc/khGRVZiakvo7) or choose to inherit this specific option from the theme settings (https://prnt.sc/abiVsb318Twn).
Kind Regards

imanoverParticipantSo what, I went into the editor, set it to 150 pixels and it still doesn’t display as expected. I attach a screenshot

imanoverParticipantWhere does this block style come from?
<div class="wd-carousel-item wd-slide-visible wd-full-visible wd-slide-next wd-thumb-active" style="width: 37.25px;"> <img loading="lazy" width="150" height="150" src="https://buydishwasher.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/SGE53C55UC-11-150x150.jpg" class="attachment-150x0 size-150x0" alt="" decoding="async" srcset="https://buydishwasher.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/SGE53C55UC-11-150x150.jpg 150w, https://buydishwasher.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/SGE53C55UC-11-300x300.jpg 300w, https://buydishwasher.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/SGE53C55UC-11-768x768.jpg 768w, https://buydishwasher.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/SGE53C55UC-11-600x600.jpg 600w, https://buydishwasher.ca/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/SGE53C55UC-11.jpg 1000w" sizes="(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px"> </div>

Bogdan DonovanKeymasterHi,
As we discussed earlier, we did not initially observe the issues on our end (screenshot https://prnt.sc/ki6NE1opP7Me). However, after experimenting with different browser settings, we were able to replicate the problem. It appears that varying browser zoom settings might be the cause. When we adjusted the browser zoom to 110% in Chrome, we encountered a similar issue (screenshot https://prnt.sc/RCb5N-i3sbEJ). This indicates that the problem is not exclusive to Edge but can occur in other browsers as well.
To specifically address this issue, please access the Theme Dashboard, navigate to Tools, then Patcher, and install the patch with number 574029 (screenshot https://prnt.sc/MjeMa_Xgvgh3).
Best regards
