Incorrect Out-of-Stock Display Settings
-
The out-of-stock display on my product pages is not appearing as configured in the backend settings. I have reviewed the configurations extensively but cannot identify the source of the issue. Could you assist in troubleshooting this?

Hello,
Navigate to Products > Attributes > edit attribute > Choose the disabled swatch. The disabled Swatch style is for the variants of the Products that are disabled, not for the Out of Stock variants. So, you need to have the variant of the Product not checked with the Enable option on it and then the Disabled Swatch style will work accordingly.

Additionally, If you want it to work with out-of-stock variations, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > enable the option“Hide out of stock items from the catalog,” then it will work for out-of-stock variations.
Best Regards
Hello
I have checked WooCommerce Settings Products Inventory and the inventory feature is already enabled by default. What I want to confirm is whether out of stock attribute swatches can directly show in the disabled swatch style as seen in the image from our previous conversation instead of only displaying the out of stock status after being clicked.

Hello,
The inventory management being enabled is not enough for the disabled swatch style to apply to out-of-stock variations.
To make out-of-stock variation swatches appear with the Disabled Swatch style automatically, you need to enable the following option:
WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Inventory > “Hide out of stock items from the catalog.
See Screenshot for better understanding: https://postimg.cc/s1hrZs73
Please note that enabling this setting will also hide out-of-stock products from the catalog and shop pages.
Without enabling this option, the swatches will remain selectable and will only show the “Out of stock” notice after clicking the variation, which is the default WooCommerce behavior.
Best Regards
