Infinite scroll not working on search results page

I have infinite scrolling enabled for the shop pages in WooCommerce. Works well, but if I use the standard searchbar on top, the results use pagination. So it says page 1,2,3 and so on. Infinite scroll does not work for this.
I have no plugins for the search or infinite scrolling on the site, just the basic Woodmart functionality.

The search page does not inherit the settings of the shop page, unfortunately.
It is not possible to add pagination there.

Hello, is there a plan to fix this problem? Ok I understand the shop settings are not inherited automatically to the search page, but don’t tell me it’s not possible! It’s not right for the customer to see different pagination options on search.

The search page is the Woocommerce functionality, and the theme cannot influence this template. Our support, unfortunately. does not cover Woocommerce customization.
