beauty.cloud31ParticipantHello WoodMart Support Team,
I am facing a frustrating layout and functional bug with the “Information Box Carousel” widget placed in my Header via Elementor.
The Previous Behavior:
Previously, the carousel functioned normally: it auto-played smoothly every 4 seconds, flipping perfectly from Element #1 to Element #2 (snapping item by item). The Current Buggy Behavior:
Now, the carousel has completely lost its slide/snap functionality. It acts like a “free-scrolling horizontal tape.”No Autoplay: It does not move automatically at all.
No Snapping: When a user drags it manually, it doesn’t snap to the next element. It stops halfway between slides, showing half of Element 1 and half of Element 2 simultaneously.
My Settings (Confirmed active):
Slider autoplay: YES
Slider speed: 4000
Slider loop: YES
Scroll per page: YES (I also tried NO, same issue)
I have multiple items inside.
I have attached a screen recording showing exactly how it drags like a continuous scrollbar rather than a functional carousel.
My Questions:
Why did this behavior change suddenly? Is it a known conflict with the latest WoodMart/Elementor update?
What is the immediate fix for this? Can you provide a JS/CSS patch to restore the “item-by-item” snapping and autoplay?
If this widget is no longer supported in the header, what is your official recommended alternative to display a sliding announcement bar?

Looking forward to a comprehensive solution. Thank you.

beauty.cloud31ParticipantHello Aizaz,
Thank you for getting back to me. I have provided the temporary WP-ADMIN login details in the “Private Content” field below.
To save you time, the buggy widget is located inside the HTML Blocks. Please go to Dashboard > HTML Blocks and edit the block named:
1. Header Promo Bar⚠️ Important Testing Note: > To see the bug clearly, please open this block with Elementor, and switch the responsive preview mode at the top to “Mobile Portrait”.
You will immediately notice that the “Information Box Carousel” acts like a continuous free-scrolling tape. It completely fails to auto-play and does not snap item-by-item when dragged.Looking forward to your quick fix. Best regards.
March 30, 2026 at 9:15 am #714495Hello,
Thank you for the detailed explanation.
We have checked your site, and the autoplay is working correctly inside the HTML Block itself when you view the HTML Block.
Please try adding this HTML Block to the Header Builder and then check the carousel behavior again.
Best Regards

beauty.cloud31ParticipantHello Aizaz,
Thank you for the reply.
I have followed your instructions exactly and added the HTML Block to the Header Builder. Unfortunately, the issue persists.
I strongly suspect that applying patch 714587 (FIXED: Stretch slider in Elementor editor issue) on 2026-03-30 is what broke the Information Box Carousel autoplay on the frontend. The autoplay was working perfectly before this specific patch was applied.
Here are the full details of the current situation:
– Theme: WoodMart v8.4.1
– Placement: Inside the Header Builder (as requested)
– Issue: Carousel autoplay not working on live frontend (freezes and requires manual swipe)
– Works fine: Inside Elementor editor and HTML Block preview
– Patch applied: 714587 — 2026-03-30
– Slider autoplay: YES
– Slider loop: YES
– Init carousel on scroll: NO
– Slider speed: 4000To save time, please note the steps I have already tried after placing it in the header:
1. Cleared all server, CDN, and object caches completely
2. Regenerated Elementor CSS & Data
3. Tested in Incognito browser and across different devices
4. Disabled all custom code snippets
5. Added custom CSS fix — no changeSince standard troubleshooting didn’t resolve the issue, it seems to be a JavaScript conflict introduced by the recent patch.
Could you please investigate this and provide a working fix, or advise on how to safely revert Patch 714587?
Thank you,
March 31, 2026 at 11:21 am #714654Hello,
I have added the HTML Block on your site in the header builder and the carousel autoplay is working fine.
See video for clarification: https://jumpshare.com/s/bCn5BwkQtn6TR9pYHyl0
Please try clearing your browser cache or testing in a different browser or incognito mode and double check the issue.
Best Regards
