Inquiry About APK Version of Website

Hello,

some time ago, I remember seeing somewhere that you offered the option to download the entire website as an .apk file, meaning as a mobile application. I would like to ask if this option is still available.

If so, could you please explain how I can generate and download this file? Also, is it possible to create a download link on the website so that clients can easily install the application on their phones?

Hello,

WoodMart does not provide an option to export or download the entire website as an APK (mobile app). This is not a built-in feature of the theme.

This functionality is outside the scope of theme support, but many external tools can help achieve this if needed.

maybe I didn’t explain myself clearly, sorry for the confusion.

I am not looking to export the website as an APK mobile app. What I meant is something different.

I remember that at the beginning, when I started using WoodMart, there was an option to add my website icon to the mobile home screen, so when a customer taps it, my site opens without the browser address bar – like a standalone app experience.

So basically:
• An icon on the phone desktop
• Opens my website in full screen
• No browser UI (address bar, tabs, etc.)
• Just browsing my “site” like an app

This is what I was referring to, not a downloadable APK.

WoodMart doesn’t have a built-in option for the full-screen “Add to Home Screen” app-like experience. To get this effect, you need to use a third-party plugin. The theme itself only handles favicons and icons.
