    Dear WoodMart Support Team,

I hope this email finds you well.

I have purchased the WoodMart theme for my established e-commerce website, which has been active for several years and contains a large number of products, pages, and blog posts.

I would like to import one of your pre-built demos to refresh the look of my site. However, when I attempt to use the import tool, I receive a warning stating that “all existing data will be deleted” during the process.

I want to keep all my current products, categories, and pages intact while only importing the theme settings, layout, and design elements of the demo.

Could you please guide me on the best way to achieve this?

Is there a way to skip the content deletion during import?

I look forward to your professional advice.

    Best regards

    Hello,

WoodMart’s demo importer is primarily designed for new websites, which is why it shows the warning about deleting existing content. However, you do not need to delete your data if your goal is only to apply the demo’s design and settings.

If you have already added demo content, importing a new demo will override only the demo content, not your custom products or categories. Your existing products, categories, and pages will remain intact. However, the new demo import will overwrite your theme settings, so please keep this in mind.

Alternatively, you can import only demo pages and ready-made templates without importing a full demo:

    • Import individual pages
Go to Dashboard > WoodMart >Prebuilt Websites. There are two tabs where you can import separate pages instead of the full demo:
    • Use the Template Library
Also, you can use the theme template library and import the relevant templates you want and use it on your site. https://xtemos.com/docs-topic/templates-library/

These methods allow you to refresh your site’s look without risking your existing content.

    Best Regards,
