Instagram feed not showing ater update

    Hello,

    I have just updated from 6.2.4 to 6.3.1 and straight away I see that my Instagram feed is no longer working. There have often been issues with the Instagram feed after a theme update and in every case it has been a problem your end.

    There is no error message – there is just no feed at all – a white space where it should be. We use the instagram api and all was working 100% before the last update I did.

    Hello,

    You can fix it by applying patch # 358638. To do this, go to Dashboard -> WoodMart -> Patcher, find the corresponding patch and click on the “Apply” button. Let us know if it doesn’t work for you.

    Hi Artem,

    I just added the patch but there is no change. Still the feed is blank. I reconnected to teh api again, but that also did not change anything.

    This is on our staging site, but we need to fix it here before updating theme on live site.

    Please note that the access I have given you is limited access. You can see pretty much everything backend, but you cannot see the “Woodmart” tab, only the “Theme Settings” tab. However I have already applied the Instagram patch you were talking about, so you should not need access to that tab.

    If you scroll down to bottom of homepage, you can see where the Instagram feed should appear. Please note this is a staging site. You need to tell me all changes you make here for the fix as I will need to apply the fix to our live site after the theme update! Thanks

    PS- There is a second patch which I have not activated called “358447 Fixed: Products hover image bug.” Let me know if I need to also use that patch, as I am not sure what it is for!

    Hello. Did you do anything Artem to make it work, once you had logged in? Yes I can see it works now, but before it was not working. Kindly please let me know as I need to transfer any fix you did the live site after I update your theme there.

    No, we didn’t touch anything. Try to install Transients manager plugin and delete all transients related to Instagram.

    Oh ok.. will try as you suggested.
    Regarding the other patch “358447 Fixed: Products hover image bug” – do I also need to install that? Not sure what it relates to.

    You don’t need to install it. Just update the theme to the latest version 6.3.2.
