Invalid response from the server. Check your AJAX request.

I get this error when i want to edit something in header Builder. I tried everything to fix it but it is not working at all.
I need this shop to get finished, please help me.

We are using a VM and there is a firewall which makes it unable for externals to connect per ssh.. If you have teamviewer you can connect on my PC and look here for it.

It might be also a problem why the header builder doesn’t work well. We see that AJAX requests are wrapped with HTML tags while they shouldn’t.
Anyway, we need to be able to edit files on your server to troubleshoot the issue.

Yes, you can connect to my pc via Teamviewer & edit the files.
We have another shop with this theme and everything is working perfectly. Idk what the issue could be but you can connect via Teamviewer and look for it. Just write me an Email..

In this case, you need to create a staging development copy of your website. There, you will be able to do such kind of experiments without any harm to your production website.
Sorry, but we can’t do this via Teamviewer.

We found the issue. We have 2 sites. First site where the theme works & 2nd site where the theme does not work. On the working one it requests a json file and gets the json. This 1 working properly. In the second it trys to get html and gets html returned. We think this is the issue.. How can we fix it.

Yes, we already mentioned in our previous reply that something is wrong with this website and it wraps AJAX requests with HTML tags.
To solve this problem we need to have FTP access to the website files. Otherwise, we are not able to troubleshoot this problem. And we can’t connect to your computer as you wrote before.
