Iphone swipe left right

On iPhone swiping left right for back and forward in safari is not working.

I cannot sent a video as there is nothing to show.

To replicate: Go to a certain page (i.e. bbc.com) from Google on your iphone. Swipe from right to left on your screen and you will be directed in safari to the next page. If you swipe from left to right on your screen in safari you will be directed from bbC.com to google again. This instead of going to the left upper corner in safari and hit the previous page button (small arrow).

This functionality does not work with our website. We have to use everytime the back button in safari instead of swiping from right to left on the screen.

Our theme does not have any special code that would try to influence this behavior of the browser. We also checked our demo page according to the instructions you described and in all cases it looked fine.

So we use the same theme but on our webshop it is not working? What could be the issue?

This swipe functionality is related to the Browser itself, our theme cannot influent it therefore the issue is not related to the theme.
