rrrrobParticipantCurrently using latest versions of both js_composer (v6.1) and revslider (v6.2.2). Current version of WoodMart is 4.4.0. When I install WoodMart v4.5.2 I get the following message.
“There has been a critical error on your website.
Learn more about debugging in WordPress.”debugging is pretty simple, I put the old WoodMart back and everything works fine again.
Wordpress v5.3.2
Woocommerce v3.9.3The last updat version of WoodMart I got notice of did the same thing. I waited for the next version thinking this issue would be fixed. Apparently it hasn’t.
Can’t say I have ever seen a theme do this before. I use a child theme. I replaced both the theme and the child theme with the new versions and got the same error message.
I replaced both with the original versions that I have been using successfully and the error went away.
The error log points to the child theme functions file line 6
wp_enqueue_style( ‘child-style’, get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . ‘/style.css’, array( ‘woodmart-style’ ), woodmart_get_theme_info( ‘Version’ ) );
}it seems that it is truncating or doing something wrong
#6 /Volumes/harddrive/folder/subfolder/publ in /Volumes/harddrive/folder/subfolder/public_html/wpfolder/wp-content/themes/woodmart-child/functions.php on line 6
I have turned off all plugins and I am still having this problem.
When I put the previous theme versions back, everything works just fine.
Seems to me what ever is wrong is in WoodMart, the provided child code, or a combination, of the new version.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin and FTP access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance

rrrrobParticipantI already did disable every plugin other than woocommerce and the woodmart theme. I placed the new theme and the base woodmart child.
It still happened. It couldn’t be any more generic.
Sorry NO you can not log in, it is on the development server, behind a firewall. Not publicly accessible, period, end of story. I wish it was different, but it isn’t. I do not want to get into a discussion over it. That is the way it is.
I copied this line directly from the debug.log
#6 /Volumes/harddrive/folder/subfolder/publ in /Volumes/harddrive/folder/subfolder/public_html/wpfolder/wp-content/themes/woodmart-child/functions.php on line 6
only the hard drive and folder names have been altered, and in no way are the names an issue. It seems to me that
“/Volumes/harddrive/folder/subfolder/publ” is an issue
It is not complete. Why is it showing as a partial?
In the wordpress base settings.
WordPress Address (URL) = https://sitename.test/wpfolder
Site Address (URL) = https://sitename.testThis should not be an issue. If it is then something is wrong with the way the theme is coded. It has always worked before. Except in one small spot.
wordpress admin > appearance > widgets > WOODMART Woocommerce Layered Nav
on the product page. If we click on the X connected to any of the filters everything works fine except the one for
“X Clear Filters”
it seems that it is not returning the same URL information. It somehow is returning the site to “http” NOT “https:”. I have tested it many ways getting the same result every time.
for some reason when we click the “X Clear Filters” instead of going to
“https://sitename.test/whatever……”
it goes to
“http://sitename.test/whatever……”
I wouldn’t think these two issues are related however we have noticed them at the same time.
Now I have the debug file and am perfectly capable of running what ever tests you need me to run. Passing on what ever information you need.

rrrrobParticipantsorry that is slightly incorrect.
instead of going to
“https://sitename.test//product-category/actualproductcategory/productsubcategory/”
it goes to
“/product-category/actualproductcategory/productsubcategory/”
and gives the following error
Not Found
The requested URL /product-category/actualproductcategory/productsubcategory/ was not found on this server.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand is it our theme issue or not? Investigate how it works with WooCommerce basic filters widget. Our layered nav is based on them.
Regards

rrrrobParticipantIt is working perfectly fine with the WoodMart v4.4.0.
What is using TwentyTwenty or Storefront going to prove?
I am continuing development with WoodMart v4.4.0, and all of the plugins I have been using all along.
I do not understand the response. I added the WoodMart theme update and got the error. I shut off all unnecessary plugins. Leaving the core woocommerce plugin and the woodmart associated plugins. I replaced both the WoodMart theme and the WoodMart Child theme with the NEW versions, unaltered, and I get the same error. It can’t be any more basic than that.
The error I sent you shows that it has something to do with what it is calling line 6 of the child theme. I copied the exact line from the log.
It is showing “location” in “location”, however the first “location” is not complete, it is cropped.
I am thinking there are 2 different issues. First we need to determine why the new version of the theme is failing. Then once it is working see if the widget is still failing.

Artem TemosKeymasterThen please, disable all external plugins, send us your website admin access and describe us a step by step how to reproduce the issue. Be sure that you are running 4.4 version of the theme where it is working correctly.
Activate your theme so we can easily update it to the latest version and then see the difference.
Thank you in advance.

rrrrobParticipantOMG….
Can you please read all the messages! I have already said the development server is behind a firewall and that there is no way for you to reach it! For once I wish support would READ ALL of the messages.
After you actually READ the messages and what I have said, respond with the next steps I need to try in order to find out why the update is causing the error.
Stop with the canned responses, read and understand the information you have been given.
March 17, 2020 at 6:37 pm #180572
Artem TemosKeymasterYes, we understand but you can temporarily disable the firewall so we can check. Otherwise, we are not able to help you since we even don’t see your website. The issue doesn’t happen for any other customers so it is definitely something wrong on your side.
March 17, 2020 at 10:12 pm #180592
rrrrobParticipantThere is no way for that to happen. There is no way to temporarily disable the firewall. There is no way to let you log in that way. As I said before, IF YOU READ IT, I WISH THERE WAS BUT HERE IS NOT!!!
March 18, 2020 at 7:07 am #180621
Artem TemosKeymasterIn this case, we are not able to help you since it is not possible to do something while we don’t have access. If it is not working for you and think that it is our theme issue, we will return your money back. Please, request a refund here https://themeforest.net/refund_requests/new
