globalcsParticipantHello, Im activating a new plugin and the demo website crashes. I get a blank screen that reads “There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.”
My whole wordpress website goes down. I have to go via FTP and rename the plugin folder to something else before I can access the backend again.
I do get an email afterwards:Howdy!
Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.
In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Woodmart Core.
First, visit your website (http://gcs.la/demo/sephardic/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (http://gcs.la/demo/sephardic/demo/sephardic/wp-admin/plugins.php?activate=true&plugin_status=all&paged=1&s=) and check for any visible issues.
Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.
If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.
To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.
When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
WordPress version 5.9.1
Current theme: Woodmart Child (version 1.0.0)
Current plugin: Woodmart Core (version 1.0.31)
PHP version 7.3.33Error Details
=============
An error of type E_COMPILE_ERROR was caused in line 120 of the file /home/gcs/public_html/demo/sephardic/wp-content/plugins/woodmart-core/vendor/opauth/twitteroauth/OAuth.php. Error message: Cannot declare class OAuthSignatureMethod_HMAC_SHA1, because the name is already in use******
Any ideas on how to fix this?March 5, 2022 at 9:21 am #357569
Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Could you please disable all plugins that are not related to our theme and provide us your admin access so we can check it?
Thank you in advance
