    Hello WoodMart Support Team,

I am using the WoodMart theme on my website (kitibo.com) and I am encountering an issue with the search functionality, particularly regarding case sensitivity and Turkish character handling.

    Issue Details:

When product names are written in uppercase, such as “SİLGİ”, no results are returned. However, when written in lowercase, “silgi”, the correct results appear.
I have installed the Relevanssi search plugin and attempted to configure it for case-insensitive and Turkish character matching, but I haven’t been successful.
I would like the search to return the same results for both “SİLGİ” and “silgi” queries.
    Solutions I Have Tried:

Used the Synonyms settings in Relevanssi to manage uppercase and lowercase matching.
Configured the plugin settings to ignore case sensitivity.
Checked the search settings within the theme but couldn’t find a solution.
I would appreciate any suggestions or assistance on how to resolve this issue. Thank you very much for your support!

    Hello,

In general, our search functionality comes from WordPress so please check how it works with some default themes like 2024 or WooCommerce Storefront.

    Let me know the result.

    Kind Regards
