DJLS1997ParticipantDear WoodMart Support,
I hope you are doing well. I am experiencing an issue with my website https://eroticsexshop.cy/. Although I have the “Default Thank You Page” option turned on in the settings, it is redirecting customers to a “404 Page Not Found” error once an order is completed.
Could you please investigate and assist in resolving this issue?
Thank you for your time and support.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how the plugin works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme issue or not?
Kind Regards

DJLS1997ParticipantI checked with storefront and is working fine. Also deactivated all plugins that is not required with woodmart. This issue still exists.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
It looks like something blocks me even when I use VPN – https://take.ms/t14JY, clarify how I can avoid that blocking.
Thank you in advance.
Kind Regards

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Okay, I see. Please, confirm the permission for plugins deactivation, and switching to the parent/default theme. As soon as we complete the testing we will enable it all back.
Kind Regards

DJLS1997ParticipantHow long do you estimate for it to take ?
October 9, 2024 at 5:17 pm #603799
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
In general, it could be around 20 minutes. But if that is a live site, would be better to clone it and move to the staging platform, in such a way the live site will not be affected: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

DJLS1997ParticipantIt’s a very big website with over 12k+ products. It is manually impossibe for me to have a backup and then upload it incase of anything goes wrong

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
You can just clone a website in a few clicks using an appropriate tool and upload that cloned website on another staging domain. In this way, your live website will have nothing to do with the changes in another stage domain.
Looking forward to collaborating with you!
Kind Regards

DJLS1997ParticipantActually you can go on and do the plugin uninstall on this live website. But I will tell you when. So is it possible for you to do this during night time ?
October 10, 2024 at 5:22 pm #604153
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Okay, I will do testings at night.
Thank you for your time.
Kind Regards

DJLS1997ParticipantAlright. You have my approval to do it tonight.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
After deactivating 3rd party plugins and enabling the parent theme, the Thank you page started to appear – https://prnt.sc/izfbteOKNaZ9
Then I enabled plugins one by one and found that the Elementor Pro causes the issue, here is the result when it is disabled – https://dropmefiles.com.ua/en/sPv4M
On the default theme, the same issue persists – https://dropmefiles.com.ua/en/DzwNEvsT3 so this is something related to Elementor itself because on the default theme the Thank you page is not defined as well. Also, I suggest you disable that custom Checkout page – https://prnt.sc/TZ-19SMptraB and use the default from WooCommerce, it could fix the issue (I didn’t remove that custom Checkout page as this is a live site so I cannot tell you exactly whether it fixes the issue or not).
