matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantI am having an urgent issue on my site whereas sometimes the menu does not show up.
Then after purging the cache, the menu shows up again.
This is happening quite frequent

matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantI have just noticed that the menu sometimes does not show up only on the HOMEPAGE. Meaning the first page that you see when you visit the site.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I would like to request temporary admin access so I can look at the settings there better.
Thank you for your time.

matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantSo a setting dedicated for mobile devices can sometimes affect the desktop menu only on the hopepage ? Thanks
February 3, 2025 at 4:52 pm #635057
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Yep, in the description you can see “This option currently removes all HTML tags from the desktop header version on mobile devices”. This is a common issue when customers enable this option and at the same time, their cache plugin doesn’t support a separate cache for mobile devices. If you want to use this option, your plugin should support a separate cache for mobile devices then that issue will not occur when enabling that option.
Kind Regards

matthew.spiteri.92mParticipanthey Luke,
Please note that the issue is till persistent although I have performed the changes you recommend.
This is costing us great issues as people are not able to navigate to our shop.
Screenshot attached as proof of this.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Clarify, did you disable that option? Did you clear the site/server cache after it?
Update the access to the admin panel – https://prnt.sc/46O9h6eEMtXG
Kind Regards
February 4, 2025 at 3:44 pm #635336
matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantI did both yes.
Cleared cache clouflare and siteground cache.
The account has been shared again.

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Thank you for the updated access but it looks like it’s limited to the basic user – https://prnt.sc/LEj6WB3EIlS2
Could you please update it to admin permissions?
Kind Regards
February 5, 2025 at 1:20 pm #635609
matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantapologies you are right.
I have added the admin role now please check.
Also, the issue is happening now as we speak. I will not purge cache as to make sure the issue remains.
February 5, 2025 at 1:21 pm #635612
matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantThe issue disappeared again.
It seems like when I change something from the backend ( WordPress panel) the menu appears again.
February 5, 2025 at 1:27 pm #635613
Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
I don’t see any options related to a “separate cache on mobile devices” in your cache plugin settings. E.g. in the WP Rocket it looks like this https://prnt.sc/kaW8DesfXWuk , https://prnt.sc/_u6-Vffum95j
Make sure that your cache plugin supports that feature.
Kind Regards
February 5, 2025 at 1:30 pm #635614
matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantI am purging the cache from both siteground plugin and from cloudflare I am completely deleting the cache.
it works as I have used it various times and you can see from the developer tools it is working.
February 5, 2025 at 1:33 pm #635616
matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantThe screenshot you shared is to enable cache for mobile devices. I do not have cache for mobile devices.
February 5, 2025 at 1:35 pm #635617
Luke NielsenKeymasterIf you do not have that option for mobile caches, then this https://prnt.sc/Z9hQjMJAevQt option will not work, you need to disable it, clear the site/server cache.
Kind Regards
February 5, 2025 at 1:38 pm #635619
matthew.spiteri.92mParticipantDone. setting disabled.
February 5, 2025 at 3:12 pm #635643
Luke NielsenKeymasterGreat, check some time the issue and let me know if the topic can be closed.
Thank you for your time.
