    Hello,

I recently purchased the WoodMart theme from ThemeForest and I’ve noticed an issue with the Popular Products carousel on the homepage.

The problem is that the carousel doesn’t work correctly — quite often the products disappear and instead of showing the product list, a blank white section appears. Refreshing the page sometimes helps, but the problem keeps coming back.

    Hello,

You’ve added only the Section Title widget with the “Best Seller” heading on your homepage. To display the products correctly, please add a Products Grid or Products Carousel widget right below it.

This will ensure the products load properly under the section title without disappearing or leaving a blank space.

    Best Regards,

Good evening, I would like you to take a closer look at my issue, as it is not related to what you have replied. The problem is with the theme’s slider — it has nothing to do with the products (which just happen to be the content displayed there).
The problem is that no matter which slider I create, I keep facing the same issue — if the screen’s viewport changes even slightly, the slider breaks and displays a white canvas.
My issue seems to be related to this here > temos.com/forums/topic/build-in-slider-not-working-properly/
But it’s not clear which solution has been provided for this.

If it helps, I can also provide the steps to reproduce the issue:

    1. Go to the site
    2. Scroll to the slider div with ID #slide-14533
    3. Swipe the slider to view the next one
    4. Open DevTools (press F12)
    5. Try swiping again — you’ll see that the sliders have disappeared

Once again, the issue is not related to the products or any product grid.
The problem is with the slider itself, which works with the same logic as this one:

    Hello,

Could you please record a short video and describe how we can reproduce the issue so we can check this for you?

    Hello,

Sure, can you download it here https://we.tl/t-aIjj8FsWSz (because i can not attach file greater than 2ΜΒ)
Please note that the same issue also occurs on mobile.

    Thank you

    Hello,

I wanted to add some more details about the issue. The problem with the Popular Products carousel (slider) is especially noticeable on mobile devices. When someone visits the homepage from a smartphone, the first slide appears normally, but when they swipe to the next one, all subsequent slides are blank (white).

Also, we had to go live yesterday, even with this issue present, so the URL has changed. We’ve also installed a few additional plugins, but they are not related to the issue, since the problem already existed when we were using only the original WoodMart plugins.

    Thank you

    Hello,

Browser resizing is not a standard way of testing the issue. After resizing from the viewport, the page needs to be reloaded. During the development and customization of the site, we recommend refreshing the page every time you resize the browser window.

So now I have tested your site and have not seen the issue.

    See Screenshots for clarification:

Please clear the browser cache or check the use in incognito mode and check how it works.

Additionally, Please update the new version of the theme “WOODMART WordPress NEW: 8.3.4 RELEASED”, update the required plugin for better compatibility.

Please allow me to draw your attention once again to this particular issue.
Regarding the screen resize, we only mentioned it as an easy way to reproduce the problem. However, this issue also occurs occasionally for regular users without resizing the window — and it’s even more severe on mobile devices. On a physical device, go to https://evik.gr/, scroll down to the slider, and swipe; you’ll see that the slider doesn’t function properly.
I’ve also attached the related video for your reference.

Note: I would also like to note that we updated the theme as you suggested, but this had no effect regarding the specific issue.
    Thanks

    Hello,
It appears on all the mobile devices we have tested. The specific video I sent you was recorded on a Samsung Galaxy A13, but we have reproduced the same issue on other phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S24, Xiaomi Redmi Note 14, and others.

    Hello,

Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.

Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know I will further check on your site and give you a possible solution. Also switch the child theme to parent theme and check the issue.

I have used your theme and purchased it multiple times, and I was always very satisfied. However, this is the first time I needed support, and to be honest, I am really disappointed.

    Hello,

I’m sorry to hear about your experience, and I understand your frustration. To investigate this properly without affecting your live website. Please try to create a Staging platform where you can test issues, enable/disable features/plugins, thus such changes will affect the main site. Also, share the WP login details of the staging site so I can further check on your staging site and troubleshoot the issue.

The article below will help you to create it: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-create-staging-environment-for-a-wordpress-site/

    Best Regards,
