zoloto14kParticipantHello,
I have several questions and one specific issue regarding the WoodMart theme.
1. Main Issue with Product Video Duplication: I noticed an unusual behavior when adding videos to the product image gallery. Whenever I attach a video to a gallery image, the same video is automatically applied to the main product image as well. Even if I delete it from the main image, the video reappears after updating the product. Sometimes it works correctly after several attempts, but most times it doesn’t. Ideally, videos attached to gallery images should not appear on the main product image unless explicitly added there.
A correct example (how it should work) can be seen here: https://14k.website/product/astrid-white-gold-radiant-ring/
In this case, I manually deleted the duplicated video from the main image, and it remained correctly removed. But in many other cases, this workaround doesn’t help, and the issue persists.2. Customization Requests:
Icons Replacement:
I’d like to replace the icons for “Add to Wishlist” and “Compare” buttons throughout the entire website (see attached screenshot).Hide Duplicate Attributes:
I’d like to hide the selected product attributes from displaying again if they are already chosen as variations (see screenshot). For example, if the gold standard “750” is already selected as a variation, there’s no need to repeat this information below in the product details.Attachments:

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
1. Videos are attached to the images in the gallery. Since you have duplicated items in the product’s thumbnails, it doesn’t work as expected. You need to remove duplicated images from the gallery. – https://prnt.sc/6j608OXjzHTX
2. Navigate to Theme Settings -> Shop -> Variable products -> turn off the “Show selected option name on desktop and tablet” option.
As for the icons, clarify which icons you want.

zoloto14kParticipantHello,
Thank you for resolving the previous issues! However, I would like to clarify the request regarding the icons for the “Wishlist” and “Compare” buttons.
Currently, these buttons have default icons, but I would like to replace them with custom icons across the entire website, including:
Product page (as shown in the screenshot I attached earlier).
Product listing (category pages, search results, etc.)
Quick view modal (if applicable).
Can you please let me know:Where in the theme settings (or via code) I can change these icons?
Which format (SVG, PNG, FontAwesome) is preferred for replacing them?
If there are any recommended dimensions or constraints for custom icons?
I appreciate your help! Looking forward to your guidance.Best regards,

zoloto14kParticipantHi team,
First of all — thank you for your previous support and all the helpful replies. Everything worked well and I was planning to follow up earlier, but due to a lot of translation-related issues I was caught up fixing them.
Now to the current problem. I’m using WPML and Woodmart theme.
During translation, I noticed a strange behavior: on the main language version of the website (Ukrainian), variation swatches are displayed as buttons (screenshot 1), while on the secondary language (Russian) they turn into dropdowns (screenshot 2). I need them to remain as styled buttons across all languages — this inconsistency breaks the design and UX.
Also, due to how the WPML translation engine works (and possibly something in the theme), many translated variations were not loading correctly. WPML support helped and explained that the issue is related to the “Ajax Variation Threshold” value being too low (Theme Settings → Shop → Variable Products). It caused variation templates not to render correctly. Increasing this threshold fixed the issue.
So my questions:
Is there any setting or known fix that forces variation swatches to always stay as buttons on all languages?
Thank you again, and I’d really appreciate if you could look into this and suggest a stable solution. I will also contact the WPML and theme translation support team to prevent such problems in the future.
Best regards,

zoloto14kParticipantHi Luke,
I hope you’re doing well!
Just following up on the variation swatches issue I reported earlier, regarding the inconsistent display of swatches (buttons vs. dropdowns) across languages when using WPML and the Woodmart theme.
I’ve already shared admin access as requested, and I’d appreciate it if you could let me know whether there’s any update or if you need anything else from my side to proceed.
Looking forward to your feedback and hoping we can find a stable fix together.
Best regards,

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
Sorry for the delay.
Navigate to the settings of the WPML and make the Layouts translatable – https://prnt.sc/gDcXzm1JHD1u then translate layouts and recheck the issue.
I await your response.
Kind Regards

zoloto14kParticipantThank you for your previous reply.
I’ve followed your instructions and made the Layouts translatable via WPML (as shown in your screenshot). I also translated the layouts using WPML’s translation tools — however, unfortunately, this did not resolve the issue.
On the secondary language version, variation swatches still appear as dropdowns instead of styled buttons. The inconsistency in UX remains, while everything looks and works fine in the default language.
I’d really appreciate it if you could take another look at this when possible — we’re trying to finalize the site launch, and this inconsistency is holding us back a bit.
Please let me know if you need further details or access.
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,

Luke NielsenKeymasterHello,
After setting the “Copy” value here – https://monosnap.com/file/g5mDe7ZNToOfxZMI0RQ5KSM4jFU6U9 and resaving each term – https://prnt.sc/GS4WU4069hlx the issue is gone – https://prnt.sc/15YjAiBBRxQB
You need to reupdate other terms to make them as swatches.

zoloto14kParticipantHello,
Thank you very much — your suggestion worked perfectly!
After setting the not_dropdown field to Copy and re-saving the attribute terms, the variation swatches now appear consistently as buttons across all languages. That was exactly the issue — and I really appreciate your help in resolving it.
Thanks again for the clear instructions.
Have a great day!Best regards,
