ivoltbgParticipantHello,
Why is it that when I view a new product, it does not appear as the latest item in the “Recently Viewed” section? The information there does not update in any way. Could you please check?

ivoltbgParticipantHi, thank you for your reply.
I’ve read through the topic and followed the instructions, as you can see in the attached screenshot. However, when I visit a new product and then go to another page, that product does not appear in the “Recently Viewed” section.

ivoltbgParticipantHello,
maybe something on my side got broken. I’m attaching a video so you can see how the bug appeared, but at the end, I did something and it got fixed. Honestly, I don’t even know exactly what happened.
I’m uploading the video just for your information – it will be available for 3 days.
After that, you can close the topic. Thank you!

ivoltbgParticipantHello,
Thank you. I have created the same video for you as a guest on the website, but it is not updating. Could you please guide me on what might be causing this and why it works for you but not for me? How can I fix this issue?

Hung PhamKeymasterHi ivoltbg,
I kindly recommend you to purge the cache of CDN, disable CloudFlare CDN temporarily and double check the issue.

ivoltbgParticipantHello,
I checked with Microsoft Edge and there is no problem there. The issue comes from Google Chrome. Many people use Chrome, and I believe everyone will experience this problem. Is it possible for you to do something on your side, since at the server level the website and this functionality are working fine?

Hung PhamKeymasterHi ivoltbg,
I kindly recommend you to purge the cache of CDN, disable CloudFlare CDN temporarily and double check the issue.
Have you followed my above instructions? The video recorded with Chrome. Everything worked fine and the issue looks like cache issue.

ivoltbgParticipantHi,
Cloudflare is disabled and I’ve completely cleared the CDN using “Purge All,” but in Chrome there are no real-time results — everything remains static… Could you please help and take a look?

Hung PhamKeymasterHi ivoltbg,
I tested in incognite in most browsers and it worked, can you please try on other browsers?
Kind Regards,
Hung PDJuly 5, 2025 at 10:01 am #671918
ivoltbgParticipantHello,
It doesn’t work only with Google Chrome…
I’m sure this is related to something with WordPress… If I install another caching plugin like WP Rocket, will this fix the issue?
July 7, 2025 at 7:20 am #672041
Hung PhamKeymasterHi ivoltbg,
If it worked with other browsers, so it’s non-related theme issue because WoodMart does not control that.
Clear all browser cookies, cache and double check to see if it helps.
Kind Regards,

ivoltbgParticipantHello,
I would like to share that the issue has been completely resolved except for the following. Let me explain so you can check it within your theme as well:
1. I removed the LiteSpeed Cache plugin, which was installed by default on my domain.
2. I installed the WP Rocket plugin, which works flawlessly and refreshes everything in every browser!
3. The remaining issue, which I now believe is related to your theme (since the caching problem has been resolved and no longer exists), is that when I view Product 1, it immediately appears in the “Recently Viewed” section. When I then view Product 2, it also appears; then Product 3, Product 4, and so on—the widget gradually fills up. So far, so good. However, if I revisit a product that has already been viewed and no longer shows in the widget, it does not appear again. In other words, your container does not add products to “Recently Viewed” once they have already been viewed.
If I haven’t expressed myself clearly or if I wasn’t understood properly, I can make a short video to demonstrate. You can also try it yourself.
