lanuevaperlaeParticipantHello,
I’m experiencing an issue with the category structure on my website using the WoodMart theme.
My site has product categories organized in 4 to 5 levels:
The parent category displays correctly.
The child category (second level) does not display as expected — it shows a blank or error page.
The grandchild and lower-level categories work perfectly.
I would appreciate your help in understanding why the second-level category is not working and how to fix it.
Thanks in advance!

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Please deactivate all the 3rd party plugins and activate only theme-required plugins on the site, and then check the issue. I am sure your issue will be solved. Then activate the 3rd-party plugins one by one and check which plugin is creating the issue for you.
Otherwise, if the issue still exists, then keep the 3rd party plugins deactivated and let me know so I can check and give you a possible solution. Also, switch the child theme to the parent theme and check the issue after completely clearing the browser cache and server cache.
Best Regards,

lanuevaperlaeParticipantHello, good day.
Thank you for your previous support. As instructed, I deactivated and reactivated the related plugins, but the issue remains unresolved. When I try to update WooCommerce, I get the following error:
I’ve attached a screenshot showing the error message from the admin panel.
I would appreciate your help identifying whether this issue is related to folder permissions on the server or if there’s a recommended solution from the WoodMart theme.Looking forward to your guidance.
Thanks in advance.Attachments:

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Based on the error message, it appears to be a server-side issue, not related to the WoodMart theme itself.
I recommend reviewing this guide that explains the possible causes and solutions for this kind of issue:

lanuevaperlaeParticipantHello Xtemos Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
Apologies for the delay in following up — we’ve been addressing some server-related issues.
We’re reaching out again to continue troubleshooting a problem with the product category display on our website, which is built using your theme.
Issue Summary:
Our site uses a product category structure with 4 to 5 hierarchical levels.
The problem occurs specifically at the second level (child categories):
✅ Top-level categories display correctly.
❌ Second-level categories return a blank page or an error.
✅ Third-level and deeper categories display as expected. We would greatly appreciate your assistance in identifying the root cause and guiding us toward a resolution.
Thank you in advance for your support.
We look forward to your response.July 1, 2025 at 12:14 pm #670848
Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
Could you please check how it works with some default WordPress themes like TwentyTwenty or WooCommerce Storefront to understand if it is our theme’s issue or not?

lanuevaperlaeParticipantHello,
Thank you for your suggestion.
I have already tested it with the default WordPress themes you mentioned, such as TwentyTwenty and WooCommerce Storefront. Unfortunately, the issue with the display of the subcategories still persists.
Please let me know how we can proceed.

Aizaz Imtiaz AwanKeymasterHello,
You have checked with the default theme, and the issue remains. It means it is not our theme issue.
