jszulganParticipantHello,
There is a problem with the Wishlist products feature.
This issue also occurs on the demo (e.g., https://woodmart.xtemos.com/product-category/accessories/).
When I click on the heart icon to add a product to the Wishlist, it works correctly. I can navigate to the Wishlist and see that the product is on the list.
However, when I return to the category product list, the product still has an “empty heart” icon next to it. It seems like the system doesn’t check if the product is already on the Wishlist (it should display a filled heart or a heart with a checkmark).
Please fix this feature so that products correctly show the indicator that they are already on the Wishlist, both in the category product list view and on the single product page (e.g., https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/accessories/smart-watches-wood-edition/).
Best regards,
June 26, 2026 at 4:36 pm #722527Hello,
Thank you for purchasing our theme.
To troubleshoot this, please deactivate all plugins except the essential ones:
– WoodMart Core
– WooCommerce
– WPBakery Page Builder or ElementorIf the issue disappears, reactivate the others one by one to find the conflict.
If it persists with everything else off, please share your admin credentials in the Private content field and confirm we may temporarily deactivate plugins and switch themes for testing (15 to 20 minutes). Please back up your site before granting access.
Best regards,

jszulganParticipantHello,
Thank you for your reply, but I think there may be a misunderstanding.
This issue is not related to my plugins or my local WordPress installation, because the same problem occurs on your official WoodMart demo website:
https://woodmart.xtemos.com/product-category/accessories/
Steps to reproduce on your demo:
Open the category page: https://woodmart.xtemos.com/product-category/accessories/
Click the heart icon on any product to add it to the Wishlist.
Open the Wishlist page and confirm that the product was added correctly.
Go back to the same category page.
The product still shows an empty heart icon, even though it is already in the Wishlist. The same issue can also be seen on the single product page, for example:
https://woodmart.xtemos.com/shop/accessories/smart-watches-wood-edition/
Expected behavior:
Products that are already added to the Wishlist should show a proper active state, such as a filled heart icon, a checked heart icon, or another clear indicator that the product is already in the Wishlist.
Actual behavior:
The product is correctly added to the Wishlist, but when returning to the category page or single product page, the icon still appears as if the product has not been added.
Since this can be reproduced directly on your official demo, it does not appear to be caused by third-party plugins on my website.
Could you please check and fix the Wishlist active-state display in the theme/demo itself?
Best regards,
June 29, 2026 at 10:21 am #722663Hi there,
Thanks for the detailed report. This isn’t a bug. There is an option in the theme settings that controls whether the Wishlist button keeps its “added” state. On our public demo this option is intentionally disabled, so the heart appears empty when you return to the category or product page.
You can enable this option on your own website if you want the button to keep its active state.
Kind regards,

jszulganParticipantHi,
Thank you for the detailed explanation – I really appreciate your help. That makes perfect sense now. I’ll enable that option in the theme settings on my site so the Wishlist button keeps its state as expected.
Thanks again for the quick support!
Best regards
