EdwinParticipantHello Xtemos Support Team,
I am experiencing an issue with my website after switching to the Woodmart theme. The header and footer are not displaying correctly and seem to be conflicting with the default WordPress theme.
Here are the details of the problem:
The header and footer sometimes load from the default WordPress theme instead of Woodmart.
In some cases, the layout appears broken or misaligned.
I have already confirmed that Woodmart is the active theme in Appearance → Themes.
I also cleared all caches, but the issue still remains.
Could you please advise how to properly resolve this conflict, so that only the Woodmart header and footer are used across the entire site?
Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Edwin

EdwinParticipantHello,
My previous issue has been resolved, thank you. However, I have encountered a new problem: when I use the WPBakery editor to edit and save the footer, the layout becomes broken or misaligned.
I have attached a screenshot for your reference. Could you please advise me on how to fix this issue?
Best regards,

EdwinParticipantHello,
I would like to provide additional screenshots for clarification:
Screenshot 1 (Before saving): The footer layout appears mostly correct, but it already shows one error that is different from the original template.
Screenshot 2 (After saving with WPBakery): The footer layout becomes broken/misaligned.
Screenshot 3 (Editing steps): The actions I took in WPBakery before saving.
I hope these screenshots help you better understand the issue.

Hung PhamParticipantHi Edwin,
Thanks for your patience.
According to the screenshots, I can see the layout already messed up without saving. May I know you used Elementor or Gutenberg editors before switched to WPBakery?

EdwinParticipantHi Hung,
Thanks for getting back to me.
For the homepage, I was editing it with Gutenberg. I did install Elementor previously, but it has already been uninstalled. When I first installed the theme, I think I didn’t re-save the footer section, which might be why it isn’t showing correctly now. Could you please help me restore the footer to the previous version and make it editable, so I can adjust it further without layout issues?
Also, could you guide me on how to use WPBakery to replace the logo and remove the duplicate “store” addresses?
Best regards,

Hung PhamParticipantHi Edwin,
Thanks for your patience.
You can create a dev site and import any template there, then you can edit footer > click on
Classic Mode
button and copy codes to other sites https://ibb.co/sv8vxbJ5Devsite – also called a Staging platform where you can test issues, enable/disable features/plugins thus such changes will affect the main site, you can use WP Local to create devsite quickly https://localwp.com/

EdwinParticipantHi Hung,
Thanks for your response. I understand the workaround using a dev site and copying codes via Classic Mode. However, I would like to clarify the main issue:
When I edit the footer with WPBakery Page Builder and then save it, the layout becomes broken and does not match the original template.
Could you please explain:
Why does this issue occur specifically after saving with WPBakery?
Is there a fundamental fix or permanent solution to prevent the layout from breaking, rather than just using the code-copying workaround?
This would help me ensure that future edits can be made without causing layout issues.
Thanks again for your support.

EdwinParticipantHi Hung,
Thanks for your support. I have already understood how to restore the footer and edit it normally.
I would like to ask further about the Products section:
Currently, the section cannot recognize or display the product categories I saved.
I have attached a screenshot showing my existing product categories and the current settings where the categories are not being queried/displayed.
Could you please advise:
How can I make the products section correctly recognize and display my saved categories?
Best regards,

Hung PhamParticipantHi Edwin,
You should deactivate all plugins (except WoodMart Core, Elementor and WooCommerce Plugins) and then reactivate them one by one. This makes it very easy to isolate the plugin causing problems.
