    Hi,

I am trying to disable Google Fonts completely and use only local custom fonts with Woodmart. I followed your documentation exactly:

    – I uploaded all my font files in .woff format via Theme Settings → Typography → Custom Fonts.

    – I renamed them with a local prefix (example: Cabin-Regular-local, Lexend-Medium-local) so they dont match the Google API names.

    – I selected these custom fonts in all Typography sections: Basic, Title font, Entities names font, Widget titles font, Header font, etc.

    – I cleared all caches and tested in an incognito window.

However, I still have two issues:

    – Google Fonts are still being loaded, even though no Google font is selected anywhere in Theme Settings. They appear in the network panel and in PageSpeed reports.

    – Bold and semibold weights render incorrectly. For example, Cabin-Regular-local is used, but when the text is bold, the browser shows weight 600 or 700 even if the corresponding custom font files (SemiBold and Bold) are already uploaded. The bold text looks visually wrong.

It seems like Woodmart is still mapping bold weights to the old Google Fonts or falling back to system fonts instead of the uploaded local fonts.

Could you please confirm if there is an additional setting to fully disable Google Fonts loading, and how to correctly link bold and semibold weights to the local custom fonts so they render properly?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,

I checked your website using the Font Finder tool, and I can confirm that the font being rendered on your site is Cabin-Regular-local, which means your local custom font is loading correctly.

    See Screenshot for clarification: https://postimg.cc/cvq6DzWP

From the inspection results, no Google Fonts are being requested by the theme.

If you still see Google Fonts in the network panel, they are most likely being loaded from another source such as Elementor page builder, which you are using on your site.

    Please check the following:

    • Elementor > Site Settings > Typography
Replace every font with your local font (Cabin-Regular-local, etc.).
    • Open any Elementor page > Edit a heading or text widget >Typography
Make sure no Google font is selected in the widget itself.
    • Elementor > Settings.
Set “Disable Google Fonts” to active.

    Best Regards,
