QUARTERMASTERMILITARIAParticipantHi,
I’m struggling with getting my slide-out menu to work properly. I’ve enabled the mobile menu that slides out from the left – it shows up as the 3 lines and ‘MENU’ icon on the left side of my navigation bar. See here: https://quartermastermilitaria.com/shop. It also shows up on Desktop, which I want to keep.
My issue is – I have two menus created. One, I want to use for the first tab (default when you click on the MENU) and the second one I want under ‘categories’.
In header builder, the settings under ‘mobile menu’ are:
‘Show categories menu’
‘Show search form’
Choose menu: ‘Collapsing Menu’ (aka the second menu I want to display under ‘Categories’)The problem is that when I set the first menu to be my default ‘main menu’ in Appearances, Menus, it mixes up the order. The menu I want for ‘categories’ shows up on the first default tab, and the ‘main menu’ shows up under ‘categories’. This should not be happening. I am wondering if it is a bug. I also set the second menu as ‘mobile side menu’ under Appearances, Menus, and that did not fix this.
Please advise.

Artem TemosKeymasterHello,
Thank you so much for purchasing our theme and contacting our support center.
The mobile menu should be defined in Appearance -> Menus -> Manage Locations. The menu defined there as a mobile navigation will be always shown in the first tab of the mobile slide-out menu. The second menu can be defined directly in that element in the header builder.
Kind Regards

QUARTERMASTERMILITARIAParticipantHi, I am convinced there is a bug, because this is not the case.
I have two menus, as mentioned:
– Test Menu A: I want this to show on the left tab, as the navigation
– Test Menu B: I want this to show on the right tab, as additional navigationUnder Appearance > Menus:
– Test Menu A: Set as Default Main Menu
– Test Menu B: Set as Mobile Side MenuDespite the above, my menus are still showing in the wrong order on my actual website. Test Menu A is on the second tab, and Test Menu B is on the first. You can see it here: quartermastermilitaria.com/shop/ and use the mobile menu to see.
I have attached a screenshot for your reference – I want the menus reversed, but when I go into the settings and switch Test Menu B to Main Menu and Test Menu A to Mobile Side Menu, Test Menu A now shows up twice.

Artem TemosKeymasterHi,
Set Menu A in Appearance -> Menus as a mobile menu (not main menu). Then, open your header WoodMart -> Header builder and find the mobile menu element. There, you can specify a different menu for the categories tab (Menu B).

QUARTERMASTERMILITARIAParticipantHi, that did not work.
I set Menu A to be the “mobile side menu” as you said – then I set Menu B in the theme header builder settings as the menu under “choose menu” in the mobile menu settings. I also have “show categories tab” checked off.
The result was Menu A showing up twice: you can see it at quartermastermilitaria.com/shop in the mobile menu again.
As I said before, I am convinced this is some kind of bug. Please advise.
Thank you.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Seems you have blocking configuration or plugins. I cannot log in.
Anyway, I will try to clarify how the menu works.First of all, you create your menus in Appearance > Menu. Next, you set which menu is Main and which is Mobile. You can have two different menus for Desktop and Mobile or one and the same for both http://prntscr.com/mfrb4k
Then navigate to Woodmart > Header builder http://prntscr.com/iyd2pe
Choose the proper header type (your current) http://prntscr.com/iyd333
When you add Main menu element it will take the menu, which you have set as the “Main” in Appearance > Menu. In order to add the “Browse categories” on the desktop, you will need to add the Categories element and choose the category menu, which you have created in Appearance > Menu
Now switch the mobile view of your header http://prntscr.com/iyd3v3
When you add the Mobile menu element, it will show the menu which you have created and set as the “Mobile”. Enter the mobile menu element and find the option to add the Category menu http://prntscr.com/mfre2w
Seems you are just confused on how to show all your menus properly, I am sure there is no bug. As soon as I can access the site I will check.
Best Regards
