adavenueParticipantI have created the site on my dev server https://extremeodev.wpengine.com/product-tag/sale/, and my sale prices appear and stay on. When I pushed to my production server https://extremeoutfitters.com/product-tag/sale/, the sale prices disappear in about an hour. I have checked everything and not sure what’s causing this. Please help.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please deactivate all the plugins not related to the theme and switch the parent theme, check the issue, if the problem remains, leave the plugins not activated and provide the site admin access to the private area
Best Regards

adavenueParticipantYes, I have deactivated all the plugins except Woocommerce. I have done so on my development (not live) site. I have created admin credentials for you.
June 13, 2020 at 8:13 pm #203216
adavenueParticipantOh I am sorry, I need to provide you with access to the live site.

adavenueParticipantI can’t deactivate all the plugins on the live site, as its an e-commerce site and unfortunately, on the development site, the sales prices are okay.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Deactivate all the cache plugins and check again. If you see the problem, confirm the permit to deactivate the plugins for `15 minutes for the while of checking.
Best Regards

adavenueParticipantI don’t have any cache plugins to deactivate. Our host, WPengine has its own cache system that you can find under WP Engine > General Settings, but that’s it. I have added sale prices to 3 products I’ll provide the links in the private section below. And yes, you have permission to deactivate plugins for 15 minutes.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
Please make the full backup of your site as well as the Theme settings export and check the issue on the Storefront theme to detect if our theme causes the problem. Storefront is a free theme developed by Woocommerce.
Best Regards

adavenueParticipantNote: I already copied to a staging server and did NOT change theme, yet the sale prices remained stable. Can’t understand why it would NOT save the sale prices on the live site vs the staging server.
Live site: https://extremeoutfitters.com/product-tag/sale/
Staging server: https://extremeodev.wpengine.com/product-tag/sale/I have spoken 3x to the hosting who had disabled caching for all products and the /product-tag/sale/ – yet the sale prices still disappear in about an hours time.

Elise NoromitMemberHello,
I face such a problem at the first time. I have checked at my side, the sales process works well. Have you checked it on the Storefront theme? Before checking, make the full backup of your site and export the theme settings. It is strange: it works well on dev site.
Best Regards

adavenueParticipantWe have uncovered the culprit, its a plugin called Woocommerce Integrator (aka Modern Retailer), since the client has a brick n mortar store the products need to be synced, thus the prices need to be updated via their Counterpoint system. That’s why it overrides my work every hour. I discovered that via the chron jobs in Woocommerce. I hope this helps others who encounter the same situation.
Elise – thank you so much for your help. You guys with Basel are the best!!
