layered filters not updating count after selection

I have 4 woodmart layered filter widgets in my shop side bar.
When I select from one filter, I want it to update the rest of the filters so they only show available options within the result set.
I feel like it used to be able to do this, but now I am ending up with full category counts next to each filter, regardless of “layering” the filter.
I have run the attribute table update in woocommerce settings.
Is there some other setting that I need to enable to make it so the filters Ajax update after a filter is selected?

oh goodness, my bad, I missed that you replied.
sure, If you go to a category with 50 items on it.
we have filters on the left for
Size
Small (20)
Medium (20)
Large (10)
Color
Red (5)
Yellow (40)
Blue (5)

If I select LARGE for the size, I want the Color to change to:
Color
Red (1)
Yellow (7)
Blue (2)

So basically I want it to Ajax recalculate the available filter options.

Go to Theme Settings > Product Archive > Enable the option Ajax shop. Then Go to Appearance > Widgets > add the woodmart woocommerce layered nav widgets in the shop page widget area and check the ajax filtering.

That didn’t handle it. 🙁 I turned on the Ajax search in theme settings.
I removed and re-added the layered navigation.
I disabled all non woodmart plugins
Still when I select a category from the first filter, the second filter doesn’t remove options that have no products in them.
