aleksandar.rancicParticipantHi,
Im using Woodmart layout as my default shop page because I can add elements on woodmath layout.
Default shop page of Woocommerce are not useful so I choose to make it with layout.Im using Rank Math Plugin and I cant edit Meta Title and Meta Description, actually i can’t use anything from rankmath on that page.
March 13, 2025 at 10:00 am #645422Hello,
Sorry to say it does not allow direct modifications to the Meta Title and Meta Description for custom layouts. However, you can still optimize your SEO settings by applying them to specific product categories and the default WooCommerce shop page as you normally would.

Custom Layouts in Woodmart override the functionality of standard WooCommerce pages. These layouts are applied automatically based on the conditions you set.
You can still optimize your SEO settings by applying them to specific product categories, tags etc.

aleksandar.rancicParticipantI understand your point regarding categories, tags, and products, but how can I optimize the main shop page?
It seems like you may not fully understand my issue. I have a homepage that contains information about the company and services, and a separate main shop page that presents products and categories. I don’t want to simply list all products as a standard archive; instead, I want an introductory section with a custom banner design, which I have already implemented through a layout.
How can I apply SEO settings specifically to this custom shop page layout?
..or do I need to connect something else, I’m not sure, that’s why I’m asking you.March 14, 2025 at 3:47 pm #645948Hello,
I understand your concern. When you create a custom layout for the shop page in Woodmart, it overrides the default WooCommerce shop page. This means that when you open the shop link it will display the layout page instead of the standard WooCommerce archive.
It may not apply SEO settings directly to your custom layout. However, you can still optimize your Meta Title, Meta Description, and SEO settings by editing the page manually under Pages > Edit your custom shop page and setting the SEO parameters.
Best Regards
